THINGS TO KNOW:
PRE-TAN GUIDELINES:
- Exfoliate well before your appointment! The Skin Care Lounge has kits available if needed - $18
- Arrive with clean skin - no perfumes or lotions
- Shaving / waxing should be done at least 24 hours prior to your service
- Bring lose fitting clothing and flip flops to wear home
POST-TAN GUIDELINES:
- It takes approximately 8 hours for your tan to oxidize and will last 7 - 14 days with proper care. Stay moisturized! Healthy, moist skin will retain your tan much longer than dry skin.
- Do not sweat or shower for 8 hours. During your first shower you will notice color run off going down the drain. This is NOT your tan! The color is from the bronzer in the product that your technician uses as a guideline.
COMMON QUESTIONS:
- What to wear? Female clients can go nude or wear a bathing suit or our disposable undergarments. Male clients can wear swimming trunks or our disposable undergarments.
- DHA - You will not become orange because we no longer use carrots to obtain color. Now that we use sugar we can obtain a golden brown color.
